Onyx Group has stormed ahead with expansion plans in Scotland, opening its second state-of-the-art facility in Edinburgh in six months.

The Group is opening a new datacentre just half a mile away from its new workplace recovery centre in South Gyle, which opened in April this year. The new datacentre is a standalone, purpose-built facility and will have full ISO 27001 information security accreditation. It will link to the Onyx datacentre in Glasgow, giving clients the opportunity to store their data in two facilities in order to ensure full resilience. It is one of the largest data centres within the Onyx portfolio – providing 32,000 sq ft of storage over two floors.
